Why should you give to The Great Give® 2020?
Join us on May 5th and 6th for the 11th annual Great Give® and support our community. The impact of COVID-19 on many nonprofits and the people they serve is unprecedented. Social distancing guidelines and safety mandates have resulted in increased demand for services for some and lost revenues from fundraising event cancellations and closures for others. Though COVID-19 has changed the way we presently interact, there is a way we can come together online during The Great Give. Whatever inspires you, you can find a participating nonprofit such as the Milford Senior Center, working in that space. Your donations are as valuable as ever. Enhance your gift with matching funds from The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven (the event's creator), the Valley Community Foundation, and other generous sponsors. The Milford Senior Center is happy to announce we are one of 12 organizations who will receive a match donation for EVERY unique (individual) donotion we recieve during the Great Give. Thank you!

Other Ways To Support

Checks or monetary donations can be mailed or delivered curbside to the Milford Senior Center to help support our current focus areas: Mini-Lunch Program, Milford Food Bank, Ahrens Program, and General Operations. Donation are tax deductible and a Thank you letter for your donation is provided. Non-monetary Support: Advocates of the Milford Senior Center are always welcomed. Although at this time, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not seeking new volunteers, please consider helping your senior neighbors or volunteering with the Area Agency on Aging of South Central Connecticut or with the CT Alzheimer's Association.
