November 2 Friday Veteran’s Celebration - 1:00 p.m. A patriotic tribute for Milford veterans and a guest. Our band, The Note-Ables under the direction of Linda Whittaker and our Choir under the direction of Rosemary Boone will perform. Light refreshments will be served following the presentation. November 6 Tuesday Natural Treatment Options for Cold and Flu Season - 1:00 p.m. Fourth Year Naturopathic Student Clinician at UB, Mosstafa Tahiri, will discuss food and lifestyle techniques to support one’s immune system, as well as review herbal and nutritional supplements that can be used during cold and flu season.
November 8 Thursday SCSU Health Workshop - 9:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Come pick up a few tips on living with more vitality from SCSU Nursing Students. The following topics will be presented: Brain Health Exercises, Foods to Enhance Brain Health, Chair Exercises, and Bingo with Health Topics. Hearing screenings will also be available. Learn about this National phenomenon of painting rocks with inspiring messages and leaving them for or giving to others! Seabury will provide paint! BYOR!!!
