September 6 Wednesday Paid Yale Study Opportunity - 1:00 p.m. Yale School of Medicine is conducting paid brain –imaging studies using MRI and PET scans in New Haven. Yale is looking for individuals up to 80 years old. If you are interested in being a part of scientific research, this talk will give you information about what is being offered as well as how to participate. Presented by Sarah O’Grady, MS.

September 12 Tuesday Birds Of Prey- 1:00 p.m. What are the features all raptors have in common? Come meet four different rescued birds and learn their individual stories as well as the characteristics and behaviors of each species. Birds will be a mix of hawks, falcons and owls. September 13 Wednesday Staying Healthy, Living Vibrantly; Choices for your Future – 1:00 p.m. Come learn about a movement that helps people have a sense of belonging by continuing to live and be involved in their community. Executive Director Bitsie Clark of Home Haven Villages, member of Village to Village National Network, will share how volunteers providing services to those in need create “villages”. Also, learn how to receive services after joining a “village” for a yearly fee.
