December 5 Wednesday Music & Merriment - 1:00 p.m. The MSC Band (“The Note-Ables”), directed by Linda Whittaker, will present a program of holiday favorites. The Band will accompany the audience while singing carols and ringing jingle bells. A ladies ensemble will perform, accompanied by a bell melody, rhythm instruments, and piano. And Linda will play a rousing solo arrangement of Christmas tunes on the piano. Come join us for a “Beginning to Look Like Christmas” kind of afternoon. Free and open to the public. December 6 Thursday AAA’s Roadwise Driver for the Mature Operator Course- 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. This nationally recognized defensive driving course updates drivers’ knowledge of traffic laws with an emphasis on safety instructions and defensive driving practices. Upon completion of the course, students receive a certificate for a minimum 5% discount off of their auto insurance. Your instructor Adelle Zocher will guide you through the course. December 7 Friday ShowTime- 1:00 p.m. “A Christmas Carol” considered by many to be the classic adaptation of Charles Dickens' novel, this 1951 version stars Alastair Sim as Ebenezer Scrooge, the callous miser visited by three ghosts on Christmas Eve. Michael Hordern plays the spirit who successfully haunts the old man.
December 9 Sunday The Milford Senior Center Gospel Chorus - will perform at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Debra Fellenbaum, their Annual Christmas Concert, “Gloria!” This presentation is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
December 11 Tuesday Steady Steps Program - 1:00 p.m. Gain balance and safety on your feet with this program presented by VNA Community Healthcare & Hospice. During this program, trained experts will teach you: how to prevent falls, the building blocks of falling down, balance exercise, demos, personalized balance assessments, and individualized screenings by our fall prevention team.

December 16 Sunday The Milford Concert Band - at 1:30 p.m. The official band of the City of Milford, CT will once again, perform “A Milford Christmas”. Medleys of holiday favorites create a festive atmosphere. Family fun is guaranteed for all. This presentation is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
December 17 Monday Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) Explained – 1:00 p.m. This condition is where your peripheral arteries to the legs (most commonly affected by this condition), stomach, arms, and head will start becoming narrow.
