July 4 Wednesday Independence Day -The Center will be closed in observance of the holiday.
July 12 Thursday Interactive Origami- 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. Origami is an ancient, Japanese, paper-craft whereby an artist folds paper to form a miniature sculpture. In this class, participants will create a crane (with wings that flap) and a toad (that jumps). The process takes time and a little patience but the end results are rather rewarding. Prior origami experience is not necessary. Presented by: William Mariano of Home Instead Senior Care in Hamden, CT.

July 16 Monday United Healthcare Medicare101/Basics & United Healthcare Participants Q&A – 1:00 p.m. United Healthcare will be here to discuss and review the basics of Medicare and be available to help any existing United Healthcare participate with any questions.
July 17 Tuesday Renters Rebate Program – 10:00-1:00 p.m. Outreach staff from the Department Of Human Services will be in the large conference room upstairs to take applications for this program. Applicants should bring the following: all 2017 rent and utility receipts and all 2017 income verification including their SSA-1099 and 2017 Federal Tax return (if filed).

You can make a difference with a few small, easy changes, come find out what they are and help stop the destruction plastic is causing to our environment!
