Sundays and Mondays Tax Preparation – The VITA Program will be providing free income tax preparation for all ages and low income families on Sundays from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Mondays 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. January 28 - April 16. Participants will be required to register by calling TEAM at 203-736-5420 ext. 206.

January 10 Wednesday Pulmonary Wellness in the New England Winter - 1:00 p.m. If you or someone you know suffers from pulmonary disease, activities of daily life can be a struggle. The winters in New England certainly compound that. Please come to our presentation for some great tips and tricks on how to maintain your pulmonary health during the coldest months of the year. January 22 Monday Pet Massage Workshop – 1:00 p.m. Come learn basic massage techniques that you can take home and use for your own pets- dogs, cats and even rabbits. Massage is good for pets of all ages. Techniques can be modified to be used for either small or large pets. Presented by Deb Soricelli of Chance’s Inspiration Canine Massage. Deb Is certified in small animal massage from the Certification program at Doggone U in Worcester, MA. Additionally, she has been volunteering in shelters for over 10 years and worked as a part time Enrichment Coordinator for a shelter in Springfield, MA. Deb lives in Milford with her husband and two canine companions, Sky and Jabba. No pets needed for the workshop, as you will be learning the techniques on your own leg.
January 23 Tuesday Wood Carving Demo – 1:00 p.m. Come be inspired by local artist Curt Avery’s talent. He will show the basic steps for carving in the round. He will have examples of wood burning. His work includes butterflies, birds, Angles and Christmas. Curt has also competed in many local fairs, and has won best in show at the Durham fair.
January 29 Monday Super Bingo –10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Lunch break is from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
January 31 Wednesday Show Time – 12:30 p.m. Come enjoy the musical talent of Pierce Campbell! He will get you tapping your feet and singing along. Bingo will follow the entertainment.
