Did you know you can be part of the solution by hosting your very own fundraising event for the Milford Senior Center and Milford Food Bank? It’s a fun, simple, and impactful way to give back to your community.
You can also host a food drive to benefit the Milford Food Bank, which provides essential resources to over 100 families year-round. Whether it’s hosting an event, a food drive, or a collection campaign, your efforts can make a real difference in someone’s life.
Here are a few creative ideas to get you started:
Give Back Night: Partner with a local restaurant, brewery, or pub to host a special night where a percentage of the proceeds benefit the Milford Senior Center, Milford Food Bank, or Ahrens Respite Program.
Jeans Day: Encourage staff or students to pay $5 to wear jeans instead of formal attire for a day, supporting a great cause while keeping it casual!
Lunch and Learn: Organize a lunch event at your workplace, where a representative from the Milford Senior Center, Milford Food Bank, or Ahrens Respite Program can share insights about the programs and how employees can contribute.
Food or Collection Drive: Organize a drive to collect food or other needed items for Milford Food Bank. You can do this at your office, on campus, or even virtually. Set a goal and encourage others to donate.
Birthday Fundraiser: In lieu of gifts, ask friends, family, and coworkers to make a donation to the Milford Senior Center, Milford Food Bank, or Ahrens Respite Program for your birthday.
