- Kitchen Supervisor Assistant
- The Kitchen Supervisor Assistant provides both operational and administrative support to the Kitchen Manager, helping ensure smooth kitchen operations. This role includes assisting with food preparation, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, tracking inventory, and supporting communication between staff and management.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cooking and food preparation according to recipes and kitchen standards
- Support the Kitchen Manager with paperwork and menu planning, as needed
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization in food prep and storage areas
- Track inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers as needed
- Perform basic kitchen tasks such as chopping, portioning, and plating
- Relay messages and updates between kitchen staff and management
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a kitchen or food service role
- Basic culinary skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Prior experience working with older adults/ senior setting a plus
- Must have CFPM certification at time of hire
- Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 25-week
- Hourly Rate: $18.45
